One or more window panels are mounted in a track system and slide horizontally across other panels, an external wall or into a wall cavity. They are great for capturing the view as there are less vertical timber members to obscure the view.
As the panels don’t project, sliding windows are great for applications where the operable components of the window unit are not allowed to project passed the wall, or where a projected panel could become a hazard.
